Discovering another passion, one that lent itself to an already established skill set.
As a tour guide, Mark educated and informed people from all walks of life. Being inside the recording booth should have been about as different as it could possibly get from wandering nation parks and museums, except it wasn’t. Both were centered around forging a connection with an audience. Years of meeting, educating and connecting with a wide range of diverse people has provided Mark with an insight into what makes them tick. What worked for one tour group might not work for another and he is practiced at tailoring his delivery for each group. Entertaining them and keeping them hooked.
Expanding his knowledge base and skill set through a course with Such A Voice and training at a local radio station. Mark quickly got to grips with the recording process and was soon recording commercials from his lovingly crafted home studio.
